Matrix Raw Edge Laminated Belts are designed for drives requiring tough, high speed applications with increased horsepower capacity and greater flexibility. Features:
A. Top & Bottom Fabric
The cover fabric is woven with highly twisted, shear resistant, warp and weft fibers for increased flexibility and abrasion resistance. It is also rubber coated for resistance to oil & static build-up.
B. Adhesion Rubber
The adhesion rubber is formulated for maximum adhesion between the tensile cord, fabric cover and compression rubber to prevent separation of the belt components.
C. Tensile Cord
The tensile cord is the power transmission element within the belt. Cords are wound around the belt in an uninterrupted spiral for enhanced tensile strength. The cords are twisted in various configurations to match the load application and pre-stretched prior to belt assembly for length stabilization and minimum stretch during use.
D. Compression Rubber
The compression rubber in Matrix raw edge Laminated v-belts is reinforced with short fibers oriented across the belt width. This ensures dimensional stability of the cross section and provides maximum support for the tensile cords. This compound ensures a better resistance to wear than standard wrapped v-belts.

Matrix Classical Transmission V Belts
Matrix Classical Transmission V Belts are ISI certified belts and remain the most widely used power transmission belts. They are proven to offer dependable service with minimum maintenance in a variety of heavy duty industrial drives such as textile industry, agricultural industry, industrial applications etc.
MATRIX Classic v-belts are just that, classic in design and application. The classic v-belt is the most tried and true style of v-belt in the market. Originally designed to replace leather belts in a variety of industries including agriculture, textile industry, automotive, facility maintenance etc. Also known as light duty v-belts, they are designed with a 40° angle to "wedge" the belt into the groove of the pulley. The greater the load, the greater the wedging action. The manufacturing process combines a rubber compound with a polyester cord to increase strength and stability. Wrapped type belts are manufactured in Z(M), A, B, C, D, SPA,SPB,SPC,and FHP sections as standard.

Matrix Variable Speed Belt are specified for applications where changes in speed during operation are common. Part of the V-belt family, it differs in shape considerably to the standard v-belt - having a distinctly broader width and a narrower thickness.The cord, the power transmitting element has been designed for heavy power transmission while at the same time ensuring a very high degree of length stability. The mould cog ensures maximum flexibility and optimum fit in the pulley grooves.
Like the cogged raw edge v-belt, the Variable Speed Belt has cogs or notches on the underside of the belt allowing for a superior range of speed ratios than standard v-belts.A special rubber compound with textile fibres oriented across the length of the belt provides high stability and minimizes deflection in the transverse direction
